Today 60 young people (plus siblings and parents!) took part in the 58th JOTA today. We had 24 Beavers, 25 Cubs, 8 Scouts and 3 Explorers talk over the radio airwaves to other Scout groups they also tried out Morse code machines too! Great fun was had by all and a huge thank you goes to the West Kent Amateur Radio Society for spending the whole day with us.
We even managed a few conversations as part of JOTI (Jamboree on the internet), including contacting someone from Borneo and Malta. We will be a bit more organised on that front next year.
