Adamswell Scout Campsite

Tunbridge Wells District campsite near Langton Green, Tunbridge Wells
Bears Wood Scout Camp

Croydon. Round the corner from Frylands. Wooded site with some accommodation.
We have only been there in the winter and used the indoor accommodation.
Buckmore Park
Basic site spread over a good sized wooded area near Chatham. Quite a few activities including caving
Burnbake Campsite

near Corfe Castle. Commercial campsite with some fields for use by groups.
Used as a base for cycling, trip to Brownsea Island, cliff climbing, coasteering
Bushy Wood Scout Activity Centre

Bushy wood is a District campsite just off the the Cuckoo Trail cycle path. We have used it several times for cycle trips and lightweight camping. It is also an activity centre
Cartwood
Cartwood is a wooded area just outside Tonbridge, most suitable for bushcraft-type activities. It has composting toilets but no running water.
Comp Wood

Malling District Camp Site [View on Google maps]
Mix of large field and smaller camping areas. Some scope for hammocking. Good access to paths. Toilets only suitable for small groups.
Cudham Shaws
In Cudham. Formerly The Shaws, a well loved Guide campsite being re-invented
Eleven Acres

Royal Greenwich Scout Campsite near between Downe and Cudham. Inside the ULEZ. Medium sized field with cooking areas around the edge. Toilet block
Hamlet Wood
near Maidstone. District Scout Site, large clearings in woods plus some fields. Has a climbing tower

Hammerwood Scout Camp

Site near Forest Row / East Grinstead. Clearings in woodland, some indoor accommodation. We have camped here a lot, good for hammocks
Hopehill Campsite

Large field split into to sections which can be combined. Large fields and some activities. Can be very muddy in winter.
Lordship Wood Scout Camp
Greenfield site near Horsmonden run by Weald District
Old Hay Airfield


Field next to the air strip that is home to Kent Scouts Microlight. No facilities
Thriftwood Scout Camp Site

Activity centre in south Essex. We have used this for rafting sessions but not camped here ourselves. Lots of sub-sites with different facilities.
Waylands Scout Camp

Big field on a slight slope with smaller clearing around. Woodlands on a slope good for swings / aerial runway etc. Not that easy to walk to and inside the ULEZ. Some scope for hammocking.

Wilberforce Scout Centre

Wilberforce is a Bromley District campsite, with a hall and some indoor accommodation, a large, sloping field with a covered cooking area and some woods. The outside toilets were pretty basic.
