We held our annual “Fireworks Extravaganza and Bonfire” last week – bigger and better than ever!
We have been working hard with suppliers to make our food even better than previous years and we were very pleased with everyone’s reaction.
If you came to the event and would like to give us some feedback (positive or things we could improve on) please get in contact.
Our fireworks display is on Friday 4th of November this year.
Once again, we are selling tickets via TicketSource where you can buy tickets and order your food for the evening!

Sorry, we have sold out for this year. We will work hard to see if we can increase capacity for next year.
Please note their is limited capacity and the event will sell out. Book early to avoid disappointment.
Gates open at 6pm with the bonfire lit at 6.30pm. First firework around 7 – 7.15 pm, when the bonfire has burnt down.

After an long evening quizzing, the Bourbon Bunch came out top by a single point in the Sporting Quiz.

Unlike other schemes, this one is almost totally painless (and I am one who usually ignores this type of thing). There is a full explanation of how it works on the easyfundraising page under resources on the web-site.

Please collect the vouchers and post them in the collecting box at the Scout Hut. The leaders are currently browsing the catalogue and compiling their “wish list”.
Thanks to your generosity, we received two big bags of sports equipment, which everyone in the group uses.
Following on from last year’s quiz night, we have a new and improved one for 2014 – this time with MORE activities for children – MORE questions for teens – MORE food options.
Food-wise, we will be serving chili con carne with rice or a tomato pasta.
Tickets are £4 (children’s portion) / £6 (adult / teenager sized portion) for food and the quiz
or £2 for just the quiz.
